One Event Lead, Full Command of the Day
An Event Lead manages your event from start to finish, supported by one coordinator per 50 guests. This ensures seamless vehicle allocation, wave timing, camp logistics, and dietary requirements as a unified operation.
Staggered Wave Convoy for Safety at Scale
Vehicles depart in waves of 4 to 6, ensuring safe and well-paced dune bashing, while maintaining the same programme and timing for all groups.
Camp Privacy That Scales With Your Group
Groups of 50 or more are accommodated in a semi-private section of the camp. Groups of 150 or more can request a fully private camp buyout, pending advance booking and availability.
Your Brand at the Centre of the Event
Company name signage is provided as standard at the pickup point and camp entrance for every Large Group booking — at no extra cost, and with no need to request it separately.

The Experience — Typical Sequence
The sequence below is a standard programme for a Large Group event. Because vehicles depart in staggered waves rather than a single convoy, timing is managed per wave by your Event Lead and coordinators — with all waves following the same overall programme.
Morning Format
Staggered Fleet Pickup and Drive to the Desert
Your Event Lead confirms wave allocation and headcount at each pickup point. Vehicles depart in managed waves of 4 to 6, with coordinators overseeing each wave. The drive to Lahbab Desert takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes per wave via the Dubai–Hatta Road.
Safety Briefing
Each wave receives a safety briefing before entering the dunes. Tyre pressure is adjusted for off-road conditions. Coordinators confirm the sequence for the morning as each wave arrives.
Dune Bashing
Off-road driving across Lahbab's red dunes in a 4x4, wave by wave. Roll cages are fitted on all vehicles, driven by DTCM-certified drivers.
Sandboarding
Sandboarding on the open dunes as each wave completes its dune bashing segment. Boards provided. Optional for any guest who prefers to watch.
Camel Ride & Cultural Activities
A guided camel ride at camp. Henna tattoos. Guests move at their own pace within the reserved or private camp section as waves arrive and consolidate.
Morning Meal and Open Camp Time
A spread of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options served at the camp. Non-alcoholic drinks throughout. Your Event Lead remains available but steps back from active programme management during this section.
Return Fleet Transfer
Vehicles depart in waves for the return drive to Dubai, following the same staggered structure as the morning pickup.
Evening Format
Staggered Fleet Pickup and Drive to the Desert
Your Event Lead confirms wave allocation and headcount at each pickup point. Vehicles depart in managed waves of 4 to 6. The drive to Lahbab Desert takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes per wave via the Dubai–Hatta Road.
Safety Briefing
Each wave receives a safety briefing before entering the dunes. Tyre pressure adjusted for off-road conditions.
Dune Bashing
Off-road driving across Lahbab's red dunes in a 4x4, wave by wave, beginning while natural light remains across the desert. Roll cages fitted on all vehicles, driven by DTCM-certified drivers.
Sandboarding and Golden-Hour Light
Sandboarding on the open dunes as the light shifts. The late afternoon sun across Lahbab's red sand offers a natural photography opportunity as waves consolidate at camp.
Camel Ride & Cultural Activities
A guided camel ride at camp as the sun sets. Henna tattoos. Access to the shisha lounge. Guests gather within the reserved or private camp section before dinner.
BBQ Dinner
A full BBQ dinner with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Non-alcoholic welcome drinks on arrival at camp. Soft drinks and water throughout dinner.
Return Fleet Transfer
Vehicles depart in waves for the drive back to Dubai, following the same staggered structure as the evening pickup.

More Corporate Safari Options
Emirates Desert Adventures operates corporate desert safaris across three formats, all departing from Dubai to the Lahbab Red Dunes. If your group size or objective doesn't match the Large Group tier, one of the options below will.
Other Corporate Formats
Smaller tiers — a single coordinated convoy for staff groups, or premium reserved hosting for senior teams.
Corporate — Team Building
For staff outings and welcoming international colleagues. Groups of 10–50 travel together in a single coordinated convoy.
Corporate — Incentive Groups
For senior teams and VIP client groups of 10–30. Reserved premium seating, table-served dinner, and included perks not available at other tiers.
Prefer a Smaller Format?
A dedicated 4x4 for smaller groups — ideal for VIP breakouts from a larger event.
Private Evening Safari
A dedicated 4x4 for your smaller group, with sunset dune bashing and a BBQ dinner — ideal for VIP breakouts from a larger event.
Private Morning Safari
A dedicated 4x4 for your smaller group, with morning dune bashing and sandboarding — back before the main event's midday activities.
Suitability and Restrictions
Suitable for
- Company-wide events, product launches, annual celebrations, and MICE groups
- International and multicultural attendee groups — coordinators operate in English, Arabic, Hindi, and Urdu as standard; additional languages arranged on request with advance notice
- Guests with varied activity levels — the programme includes both active elements (dune bashing, sandboarding) and passive ones (camel ride, camp dining)
- Events with dietary requirements across a large guest list — vegetarian options are available as standard; specific dietary breakdowns should be provided at the planning stage
Dune Bashing Is Not Recommended for
- Guests who are pregnant
- Guests with serious back, spine, or neck conditions
- Guests with recent cardiac procedures or serious heart conditions
Guests who prefer to skip dune bashing are transferred directly to the camp at a lower intensity, with all other activities remaining fully available. This is confirmed with your Event Lead during planning — not decided on the day.
Minimum group size: 50 guests. Events below 50 guests are better served by the Team Building or Incentive Group tiers. Guests with mobility limitations should be flagged during planning so appropriate camp and vehicle arrangements can be made in advance.
Safety Standards
Directly operated by Emirates Desert Adventures — not a reseller or agency.
Safety Standards
- DTCM-certified drivers on all owned-fleet vehicles; partner vehicles used beyond 300 guests operate under direct Emirates Desert Adventures supervision
- Daily vehicle inspection before every departure
- Roll cages fitted on all dune bashing vehicles
- Tyre pressure reduced to 15–18 PSI before dune bashing and re-inflated after
- Mandatory safety briefing before entering the dunes, delivered per wave
- Vehicle tracking and communication devices on all fleet vehicles
- Your Event Lead and supporting coordinators carry first-aid equipment and are trained in standard first-response procedures
- Public liability insurance documentation available on request — routinely provided to event organizers, HR, and procurement teams; request at enquiry stage and it will be included with your quote

Pickup and Fleet Dispatch
Because Large Group events are individually coordinated rather than run on a fixed schedule, pickup logistics are planned around your specific guest list and locations — not a standard pickup zone.
Fleet Dispatch — Planned Around Your Guest List
- Fleet dispatch is planned from your confirmed pickup locations — multiple hotels or a single event departure point, depending on your guest list
- Vehicles depart in staggered waves of 4 to 6, timed to maintain safety and pacing across the full guest count
- Your Event Lead confirms exact wave count, dispatch timing, and drop-off sequencing as part of your proposal
- This is finalized during planning — not left until the event date
Airports & Drive Times
- Airport pickups (Dubai International or Al Maktoum) can be included with advance notice
- Drive time to the Lahbab Desert is approximately 45 to 60 minutes per wave from central Dubai pickup points
- Timing depends on traffic and exact departure location
What Corporate Groups Say
Frequently Asked Questions
The minimum is 50 guests. Groups between 50 and 200+ are supported on this tier, with our owned fleet covering up to 300 guests directly. Beyond 300, supervised partner vehicles operate under direct Emirates Desert Adventures management. Groups smaller than 50 are better suited to our Team Building or Incentive Group tiers.
No. Large Group events are quoted individually based on group size, date, camp privacy level, and activity selection, rather than sold at a fixed per-person rate. Every enquiry receives an itemized proposal within 4 business hours.
Vehicles depart in staggered waves of 4 to 6, rather than as a single convoy. Each wave follows the same safety briefing, dune bashing, and activity sequence, allowing large guest counts to be managed safely without compromising pacing.
A semi-private reserved camp section — a roped-off, designated seating area within the shared camp — is standard for groups of 50 or more. A fully private camp buyout is available for groups of 150 or more, subject to advance booking and date availability.
Your Event Lead oversees the entire event from first pickup to final drop-off, supported by additional coordinators at a ratio of one per 50 guests. They manage wave dispatch, camp logistics, dietary coordination, and act as your single point of contact throughout.
A minimum of 14 days' notice is required to coordinate fleet availability, camp arrangements, and wave logistics. We recommend 21 or more days for events involving a full camp buyout or complex dietary and accessibility planning.
Company name signage at the pickup point and camp entrance is included as standard for all Large Group events, at no additional cost.
Yes. Professional event photography coverage is available as an optional add-on, priced from AED 500 to 800 per event depending on group size and duration. This is separate from the natural golden-hour photo opportunity that occurs during the evening programme.
